A sketch of Twilight based on a scene from the upcoming prequel novelette to my pony comic (pending a rename). For such a dark and imposing moment, I turned to the master of edge herself, Tempest Shadow, adapting one of her infamous glares to use on Purple Smart. I know that the movie style typically parts Twilight's fringe, but I needed her eyes to be cloaked in shadow, and having a big gap in the middle looked really silly.
This felt really good to do. I need to draw more like this. (Also, new signature! Saves having to use the type tool)
