"Jeez, Mel. You think your little bandana is gonna keep you warm in this weather?" Turquoise Edge snorted, gesturing to the falling snow. "You need to be more prepared than that. I don't want to listen to your shivering our whole walk."
Pristine Melody looked up at the sky with slight disinterest and shrugged her shoulders. "I can manage," she stated simply. Though, she'd be lying if she said that she wasn't a little cold. However, she didn't quite feel like trekking back to Sweet Apple Acres for appropriate winter apparel at this point.
Turquoise groaned, "You farm ponies are a stubborn bunch!" She swiftly extended her large, gray-blue wing and wrapped it around Mel, pulling her close. "There. Better?"
Melody's eyes were wide for a moment at the sudden touch. But she quickly leaned into Turquoise warm body with a smile gracing her lips and a slight blush forming on her cheeks. "Much better," she murmured. "Your feathers are so soft and warm."
Turquoise Edge spluttered in response, her entire face turning as red as a tomato. "Well, don't get used to it!" she grumbled. "Bring warmer clothes next time!" Pristine Melody simply chuckled in response, pressing herself even closer to Turquoise.
