Personality/Background:
Crystal Remedy is the oldest child of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. She was born with the name “Sugar Pie Honey Bunch” and was called “Sugar” by her friends and family. However, when she received her cutie mark in fortune telling, she changed her name to “Crystal Remedy” to better match her profession. Though, her parents and siblings still call her “Sugar” from time to time. But she doesn’t really mind.

Remedy has an extreme knack for reading fortunes and analyzing the stars. She first found interest in it when she discovered her mother’s old “Madame Pinkie” outfit and trinkets. As she played around with researching future telling, Crystal realized that she has a sixth sense and can feel other ponies emotions and glimpses of their future. Her strange abilities are believed to be inherited from her mom, like a Pinkie Sense of sorts. With her skills, Crystal Remedy quickly became a famous fortune teller throughout Equestria.

Crystal is a rather quiet, reserved pony. She prefers to watch and observe ponies rather than interact with them. She also has quite an interest in psychology and loves to sit back and analyze others. Unfortunately, this does come off as weird or creepy to other ponies.


Relationships:
Crystal Remedy loves both of her parents, even if she doesn’t quite understand them sometimes. Pinkie and Cheese tend to be a little too wild, and often, she feels like she can’t keep up with their energy. When it comes to conversations with her parents, it’s usually pretty one-sided as they do most of the talking. But Crystal doesn’t mind it in the slightest. She finds their antics to be amusing.

Remedy also adores her younger siblings. She gets along best with Cookie Batter, as they both share a more quiet nature. She encourages Cookie to work his hardest and fulfill his dream of opening his own bakery. As foals, Crystal actually used to help Cookie out with baking as his sous-chef, fetching ingredients and reading off recipes.

Unfortunately, Crystal and Starswirl buttheads. Starswirl doesn’t believe in Crystal’s powers and thinks it’s all a bunch of baloney. This frustrates Crystal Remedy to no end. He’s never even given her or her abilities a chance and just brushes her off as some sort of con artist.


Special:
- Crystal Remedy loves her Aunt Maud. They have a great understanding of each other. Maud even gave Remedy her first healing crystal.

- Remedy is also good friends with Tree Hugger and her son, Treasure Trove.

- Crystal Remedy resembles her great aunt, Surprise.

- Crystal loves makeup. She globs it on in huge amounts.
