ok so general info on this AU and then Bios

so in my Main universe the whole timeline mainly starts back when the pony races were separated and other sentient species hadent come to equestria yet. when a unicorn army attacked the earth pony populated Crystal empire. originally Sombra is defeated and thrown into a old forgotten frozen lake. presumed to be dead, but with luck he had sunk into the lake were darkness slumbered for who knows how long. the dark energy consumes sombra and he takes back the crystal empire but becomes a dictator setting the chain of evil into motion.


but this universe sombra got lucky to hold back the unicorns until the crystal guards showed up and thwarted the unicorn army. this set history into a whole new story. with sombra no longer a possessed dictator he went on to be a proud ruler of the crystal empire, which in this verse is cantorlot being the main hot spot. The crystal empire is the shinning star with their king sombra (who was granted immortality by StarSwirl a close friend to the empire) and his wife radiant hope and generation of children.
The crystal empire no longer been trapped in a thousand years of shadows and mysteries. since of this crystal technology was able to advance much quicker into the equestrian society, so compared to the mainverse this verse is much further ahead with the times.
celestia and luna are still around but they lives as nomadic oracles. they still raise the sun and moon but most ponies dont see them as anything special due to the crystal empire still being around with the crystal technology.

Tirek while not having a big difference in his personality his life is much different then how it turned out in the mainverse.

originally he lived in a far away land with his family getting effect by the dark energy, only so little as their home was far from the source drive him to rage and madness. he was to become evil and attempt to destroy his home and equestria.
but since the darkness wasn't free Tirek just lived a decent life in his kingdom but his brother took the throne being older, so Tirek left for equestria at the request of his brother. scorpan felt being cooping him up in the kingdom knowing he was sad and bored and figured tirek would get more out of life in equestria.
tirek took the pony quickly much like his brother scorpan did all those years ago, in fact the good nature of his brother left a positive image for tirek.
tirek stays int he crystal empire as its the headquarters of equestria and learns a lot from the books in equestria.

discord while act hardly any different he looks and lives a completely different life.
originally he was a creation gone wrong by starswirl the bearded who became a god of chaos.
but now the darkness isnt there to mess up starswirls experiments. discord becomes what he was originally meant to be, a kirin. at the time of creation no dragons had entered equestria but starswirl was very interested in their culture and biology though raising a dragon to full age could take forever and can be dangerous, so he collected what he could of dragons and created the first kirin by magic. his name was discord a cocky goofball.
to this day discord lives with his father starswirl in crystal empire, he still acts childish and likes to mess around in his friends like by telling secrets or being too honest and stirring up feelings.
starswirl see's him just a troublesome son instead of a experiment he's charting. and discord feels the same even when starswirl does check ups.

chrysalis's life if much better and she lives a much happier life.
originally to the mainverse discord visited the fairy pony lands and fell in love with the queen chrysalis but when his feelings weren't returned he cursed the kingdom to an empty heart for eternity. to feast on others feelings and try to fill their heart with no success.
now chrysalis is still a full fairy pony with her breezies. she is happy in her kingdom and even takes royal visits to crystal empire. discord still has a crush on her but since he more like a normal pony he more honest with his feelings and cant curse her when she reject him, in fact she see's him as a little booger than an adult proposing to her.

arimaspie, the one eyed goat. he didnt have much going for him originally. he belongs to a sentient species of goats enslaved by the griffons, he was possessed and tried to destroy the empire only to die by falling in a canyon.
this time his head is clear and he leads a revolution against the griffons and sets the goats free from the griffon possession. he is king of a small goat kingdom not far from the crystal empire. he often makes trade with the empire and is well respected.
but when he isnt doing king business hes a silly man who likes to make children happy.
