Special Talent: Speed and athletic skills. Also shows his witty and "shocking" personality.
Personality: Much like his mother, he’s cocky, hotheaded, and loves to show his skills. He's very proud with a big ego and loves to poke fun at others, but tries not to go too far. He's rather competitive, sometimes finding challenge in the most menial of tasks.
Bio:
A full-blooded Pegasus, Lightning takes his flying seriously and enjoys racing. He's nowhere near as fast as his mother, but he's above average in his own speed due to both his mother and father. Despite his love for flying and racing, he's not too interested to follow in his family's hoofsteps. He respects the Wonderbolts, but doesn't want to be one. Despite his prideful personality, he does what he can to protect the ones he cares for. If anything, it's a case of "Nobody does this but ME", but everyone knows his intentions are good. He's never met his father, and personally doesn't really care to. He's happy with his mothers and half-sibling.

Fun Facts:
-Despite his love of sports and flying, he has no real goal in life as of yet. He has no interest in the Wonderbolts, though he respects them.
-Due to his prankster nature, he butts heads with Honeycrisp a lot.
-He’s very protective over his younger sister, Gayle.
-While he is rather goal-less at the moment, he does have one thing in mind: Beating his rival, Phoenix Blitz.
-He’s part of a duo with Thunderlane and Cloudchaser’s daughter, Thunder Call. They’re known as “Thunder and Lightning”, and always practice together. He relies on Thunder to help him keep a cool head.

-When Lightning was ten years old, he sold his mother's Daring Do books to get some money for a new game. When his mother found out, she screamed up a storm and grounded him for a whole month (no going outside, no flying, etc.), taking the video game back. Lightning was so scared by her rage that he promised himself to never anger his mother again…a promise he was able to keep for an entire year. After finding out who they went to, Rainbow calmed down a bit and got back on good terms with Lightning, but still made sure he knew that what he did was wrong. He payed the rest of the money back by doing chores. (idea given by Solitary-bat)
