Background:

Pinkie Pie, after leaving Bear in his Grandmother’s care, went to live with Fluttershy for therapy about her past marriage. Fluttershy was very accepting under the circumstances that Pinkie Pie would have to help Fluttershy break out of her shell. One thing after another and Fluttershy ended up having a child who she named Honey Sickle. Although Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy aren’t married and didn’t plan to be in an intimate relationship, they cared for Honey Sickle as if they were a happy couple. Honey Sickle was raised with kindness, however wanted to turn the kindness into protection, joining a fencing class, then to the Canterlot guard training when the option had risen. She was heckled for looking too bright and sweet to be as lethal as a guard, however Honey had bested them and rose to one of the highest ranking positions, deemed to be Commander Tempest’s successor should she retire.
