I actually drew something properly! Wow! Amazing!!!This is one of 4 ponies from G1 most often called "Celestial Ponies" but also known as "Fairy Brights". They were going to have glowing antennae and had marbled bodies and, presumably, tinsel in their hair. However they were never produced and the only thing hinting at their existence is some official art Hasbro showed at a fair in 2007.36.media.tumblr.com/bc693f1d55…I don't think the individual ponies ever got names. I've been unable to find any information on that. With their space-themed cutie marks (except for this blue one) and antennae, I think they were gonna be aliens? That's pretty awesome! There's no info on why they were never produced. Hwever, if I try and think of a reason on my own, perhaps the marbled bodies were too expensive to produce in large quantities. (It's not impossible to marble ponies though, as some customs prove glownshowpony.tumblr.com/post/… )Perhaps they felt the marbling wasn't eye-catching enough? Who knows.
