The four ponies (and dragon of course~) arrived at the Crystal Palace, being greeted by the royal guards, and of course, Flash Sentry.

Twilight: "Hey Flash!" *Flutters over to her husband, planting a kiss on his cheek*
Flash: "Hello, deary" *Smiles* "Princess Cadence is ready for you guys to head inside" *Bows to Flurry Heart*
Twilight: "You guys head in without me, i'll meet you inside!"
Flame: "Alright, see ya soon mom and dad" *Waves as he trots away with the other ponies*

As soon as they got into the castle, Princess Cadence let out a squee of delight
Cadence: "It's soooo good to see you guys!" *Trots over to the group of ponies and hugging Flame and Starswirl*
Flame: *Laughs and hugs back* "It's good to see you too, aunt Cadence"
Starswirl: *Giggles*
Cadence: *Lets go* "Where's Twilight?"
Starswirl: "She decided to stay outside with our father, but she'll be here"
Cadence: "Aaah, alright. I'd give you the castle tour, but i'm kinda filled up with paperwork.."
Shining: "Don't worry dear, i'll give them the tour"
Cadence: "Thanks, Shining!" *Softly kisses him on the muzzle and trots out of the throne room*

After the semi-long castle tour, Shining finally got to the last room.

Shining: "And this is the lab room, where your other cousin usually is" *Gets caught off by a huge poof that came from the said room* "Speak of the devil.. *Carefully opens the door*
Royal: *Levitating a potion with a large smoke cloud above it, quickly vanishing and filling the room with smoke - the smoke soon vanished, revealing little colorful lights that were left behind*
Starswirl: "Wow! That was so cool!"
Royal: *Hops up a big in surprise, quickly looking at the door* "Jeez.. ever heard of knocking…?"
Shining: "Sorry, Royal that was a great trick you just did there"
Royal: "Thanks dad, but it was just a practice, i'll learn how to do something better soon enough"
Starswirl: "I'm pretty good at potions, but i've never seen anything like that before.. guess i'm not as good as i thought" *Rubs the back of her neck and looks down - laughing nervously*
Royal: "I'm sure you're pretty good at it, you're the daughter of Twilight Sparkle, you've gotta be good at everything" *Chuckles*
Starswirl: "I wouldn't say everything, but you're not exactly wrong" *Laughs* "I'm Starswirl Quill, nice to meet you, cousin" *Smiles
Royal: "The name's Royal Shield, nice to meet you too" *Smiles and shakes Starswirl's hoof*
