Starlight and Sunset are related through Sunburst- Starlight married Sunburst, who is Sunset's maternal half-brother, so technically they're half-sisters-in-law I guess?
But they love each other. They're besties. After Starlight and Trixie had their big falling out, Sunset and Twilight stayed with Starlight and Sunburst in the Crystal Empire to help her recover.
So Star was more than thrilled when Sunset told her she was yet again pregnant…
