Duplicity Part I

“They were searching all over, with unicorns on the ground and pegasi searching the air and checking the trees. But they had the unicorns searching out in front, and one of them got a bit too far ahead of the others.

“I got far enough in front of him, then hid up in a tree: it wouldn’t have worked with a pegasus guard there, but I managed to… well, I pretty much slammed down onto him and knocked him out.

“I took off his armor, hid him up in the tree, then took on his appearance. I still had my wings, but the armor covered them up perfectly…”
