- Serene is the third born and only daughter of Fluttershy and Troubleshoes. While Serene does possess many traits of her parents, she is more than likely the more outgoing family member. She is quiet, but if you get her started you'll have a difficult time getting her to stop talking.

- She began her writing career when she was 17, and she now writes Fiction Fantasy, and has published one (successful) novel.

- Whenever she began to speak, she developed a stutter. Her parents worried that it would be a future problem, but Serene made sure it wasn't. Whenever ponies would mimic or make fun of her, she would mimic or make fun of them back. This lead to her being a bit troublesome because she would eventually get carried away with her remarks. She regrets how childish she acted, although her methods did seem to work.

- Serene is by no means ashamed of her stutter, although she does embarrass easily because of it. She of course realizes no one thinks negatively of her, but she still manages to become red whenever she stutters around ponies she doesn't know well.

- While she was born in Appleloosa, that wasn't where her parents had expected her to be born. She was slightly earlier than expected, so her and her parents stayed in Appleloosa before returning to Ponyville where she grew up.

Eeee I'm so glad I'm finally posting this gal. Her little backstory things need a little improvement, but it's not too terrible. I plan on giving her a brother, possibly two, so I'll most likely add those in. I'm proooobably going to post Ginger Fox's reference tomorrow, which I'm going to have a lotta trouble with because I'm terrible at backstories but pff it's fiiiiine!
Also I do plan on making a version of her with her hair up in some sort of bun or ponytail because I feel like she would want to wear it up sometimes. There's absolutely no telling when I'll make it but yeah!
