My first "real serious" attempt to complete a painting. I worked on this thing on and off for months.
I'm satisfied with the results; especially Pinkie's mane and tail.

Painting a picture to completion is one of the hardest things for me to do in art. I tend to overthink the process and often start a piece only to put it away in frustration or boredom. As a result, I've had so many false starts with art; so many ideas unfinished… It's a wonder I finish anything.

Uploading my art here, combined with you guys liking my work; has helped with my motivation to try to take my art more seriously.

Anyway, I would appreciate any critique and/or constructive criticism for this piece. Be honest, but be considerate please!

I want to paint with more confidence and I would like to know what areas of painting I need to focus on to improve.

Done in Photoshop CS6.
