- Quetzalli is the daughter of Xipilli and Nova. Ambitious and stubborn, she takes highly after her mother in personality, but for the most part; is quite the daddy's girl. With Nova being a princess and Captain of the Royal Guard, Xipilli is her stay at home father and spends the most time with her. Although that does not mean she loves Xipilli more; just a bit closer.

- Quetzalli was born premature by a few weeks. Although not as early as Crescendo when he was born, she still took them by surprise when she came early. She was still kept at the hospital and kept under supervision until they were confident she was ready to go home. It wasn't until after she was almost a year old that Xipilli and Nova finally got married and had their little Zalli as their flower girl.

- Quetzalli's best friend is Celestine (Daughter of Pureblood and Clarity) Celestine is a bit older than her, but the two of them were relatively the same age. Despite Celestine's girlish ways, Zalli taught her how to have fun messing around too, and unlike her mother; Celeste doesn't mind getting a little dirty every now and again. Zalli and Celeste loved mud puddles the most when they were young. (Which always got on Clarity's nerves)

- Quetzalli's favorite foal sitter is Chaos Cross. She first met him when he came to see her after she came home from the hospital. Chaos and Nova became friends after the Dragon War, he taught Nova how to adjust to living with only one eye. (Since he was born without one) Zalli loves Chaos's fluffy chest and originally called him a lion when she was a foal. As she got older and realized he wasn't a lion, she started calling him "Criss Cross" instead, having trouble saying "Chaos".

- Zalli knows nothing of her "grandfather" Ahuizotl and her parents/grandmother (Daring Do) refuse to tell her anything about him. At the moment, she's too young for that to bother her. But as she gets older, she begins to wonder.

- As they got older, Quetzalli ended up developing feelings towards Celestine, more than just friendship. She could even saw she might've been falling in love with her. But Quetzalli is too scared to say anything and Celestine is completely oblivious to Zalli's feelings beyond friendship. Every so often she'll make jokes and teases like normal close friends do, not aware just how accurate her jokes actually are in Zalli's POV. However, like Celestine being oblivious to Zalli's feelings, Quetzalli is oblivious to Ambrosia's feelings for HER.
