In the outskirts of both the Sun and Moon countries, and located in the middle of the untamed badlands existed a peculiar town. The unnamed town has gone about its business in an orderly manner for years. Its citizen seem happy with thier lives of repetition, celebrating the lack of differences in one another. The Warriors were asked to investigate after scouts failed to return from a recon mission. There they met Starlight Glimmer at the center of it all, a unicorn Magus who commanded ancient magicks of raw power. The Magus’ story is that for another day. Her defeat led to a reformation and job change.
The current Starlight Glimmer is now a Sage, a mage who can utilize White and Black Magicks, but specializes in the Arcane. As a Magus, she could use Time as well as Black and White Magicks, but the trauma of understanding what she did to an entire village as well as her current allies prevents her from even channeling Time Magicks. Her Sagacity training also led to her having a proficiency with maces to a degree. She personally prefers their weight over traditional magick catalysts like rods, but rods have a more pleasant grip to her. She’s found a nice, effective way to compromise the two however.
Ever since she was reformed, she’s been living in Ponyville at the behest of the Celestial Sisters. Since then, she’s been learning how to carry herself around others. The unicorn has had many tests assigned to her under the guidance of Twilight in dealing with strength both character and magicks. As she continues alongside Twilight and the other Warriors, it’s revealed that she’s been placed in Ponyville due to her being the fourth and final Warrior of Darkness. Understanding this, she does her best to rise to any occasion to prove that she is also beyond her own past transgressions.
Glimmer Mace – It’s actually a basic magical rod, but Starlight encased it in crystal, turning it into a very effective mace. If used with enough force, the crystal will shatter, but that’s okay. She can just encase it again.
Starlight Cape – After her final defeat, Starlight tried to become friends with the Warriors. Rarity felt that her stuffy sage outfit could use a little more…oomph, so she whipped up a lovely cape with a clip shaped like her cutie mark. Starlight considers it one of her treasures. It was used as a proof of friendship when trying to show sincerity to those she’s wronged.
