I can't believe it took me like, a year to see Arrival. It was so freaking amazing.
Fluttershy's innate ability to speak to "animals" really shone here.
However, if she hung around the heptapods for too long, she started to lose her grip on the flow of time. So automatically picking up the language of other creatures kinda backfired a little.
At least they understood her hugs, though, thanks to her animal communication ability.
