Here is another OC for my MLPFIM spin-off, "My Little Pony: Friendship Troopers".

Her name is Firefly, and before you say anything, I know that Lauren Faust had meant for Rainbow Dash to be named Firefly… And I know that Hasbro has turned Firefly into the general that gave the Wonderbolts their name… But this girl here has nothing to do with either of those things… At least, not directly. She is more original than you might think.

This Firefly is the last one of the founding members of the Friendship Troopers. So, any new character that might turn up from now on, will either be only background characters, or personal friends to the Friendship Troopers. But I'm not sure if I want to expand the group more. I feel like it's a good place to start, with six members initially, and then to have Jungle Heart join them as the seventh member. It feels like I should be able to control the story with the Friendship Troopers as no bigger in numbers than seven. But what do you guys think? Please tell me in the comment section. Do you think I should stick with just seven ponies, or do you have any suggestions. I would like to hear from you.

And while we're at it… Please give my OC Bright Eyes some love. All of my other OCs have gotten faves, but not her, and she's feeling a little left out. So please, give Bright Eyes a fav, and show her that you care about her too.

Now, onto Firefly's biography…

Firefly is a younger cousin of Rainbow Dash, and she looks up to Rainbow Dash like a big sister. Firefly was born on the anniversary of the founding of the Wonderbolts, and therefore, her parents agreed to name her Firefly, after the Wonderbolt general who practically founded the group. Just like her cousin, Rainbow Dash, Firefly is obsessed with speed, being the second fastest pegasus there is, next to Rainbow Dash. She sometimes will do anything to impress her older cousin, and sometimes, she will jump right into dangerous situations without even thinking. As a natural daredevil, Firefly is all for the adrenaline rush. She will try anything that seems like a rush. She really enjoys showing of her flying skills for her friends, and anypony else who might fancy a big air show. Sometimes she can be incredibly stubborn, especially when it comes to performing an incredibly dangerous stunt. In fact, she's ended up in the hospital more often than all the Wonderbolts put together. But she doesn't let that stop her from trying again. She might seem self-absorbed, at times, talking much about how cool she is, just like Rainbow Dash… But just like Rainbow Dash, if her friends are in trouble, you can count on Firefly to be the first to arrive to help. She also enjoys a good prank, just like her best friend, Field Runner. In fact, those two get pretty well along, both being tomboys and all for the excitement. They will often be seen competing with each other in intense, and yet friendly, contests, like arm wrestling. And when the Friendship Troopers later discover Jungle Heart, Firefly gets really well along with her too, mostly because Jungle Heart's jungle life sounds to Firefly like an ideal way of living… Just being in the moment, and taking in the excitement when it hits you. Firefly may be a speed and adventure enthusiast, but when it comes down to it, she will always be a good friend to have.

Firefly is a pegasus pony with emerald green eyes, a purple coat and a blue mane and tail. Her Cutie Mark is a fireball with a lightning bolt in the middle, which represents her burning desire to go faster, and to live the adventure of a lifetime.
