Okay, this isn't really an OC, I admit… But since Hasbro surely will never again use this character from the "My Little Pony Tales" TV series from the 1990s, I thought that at least I could give this girl a second chance.

Her name is Bright Eyes, and in "My Little Pony Tales", I liked to think of her as the prototype for Twilight Sparkle… You know, the girl with her nose mostly in the books. The main difference between the original "My Little Pony Tales" version of her, and my version here, is that, the original version of her wasn't a unicorn, because there were no unicorns or pegasus ponies in "My Little Pony Tales", only earth ponies. But I really wanted to make her into a unicorn, because it just felt right for my ideas for her character.

In my "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" spin-off fanfic, called "My Little Pony: Friendship Troopers", Bright Eyes is one of the six founding members of a group of ponies, who call themselves "The Friendship Troopers", who attend Princess Twilight Sparkle's School Of Friendship. Firefly (An original pegasus pony who is a younger cousin of Rainbow Dash.)
Field Runner (An original earth pony based on Patch from "My Little Pony Tales".)
Sweetheart (An original earth pony based of Sweetheart from "My Little Pony Tales".)
Star Song (An original pegasus pony based on Melody from "My Little Pony Tales".)
Party Snack (An original unicorn pony based on Bon Bon from "My Little Pony Tales".)

Later, they are joined by Jungle Heart, whom they meet in the southern jungles of Equestria.

Now, on to Bright Eyes… Bright Eyes is a very eager student, always reading about anything… Just like her idol, Princess Twilight Sparkle. Bright Eyes is always analytical, never so keen on rushing to a decision without all the facts on the table, which makes her the "Sherlock Holmes" of the group. If a difficult problem comes along, she often has a great ability to stay calm, long enough to come up with a solution. If she really needs to think, she goes off to use the "Mind Palace" technique, which does often help her.

Bright Eyes is a unicorn pony with seafoam green coat, and a ginger mane and tail. Her Cutie Mark is a pink school notebook with a purple and pink school pencil across it, symbolising her well-read personality and documenting nature. Her eyes are a dark shade of pink, and the magic aura from her horn shines in that same shade of pink.
