During a gala, Blueblood met up with Aj again, they had an argument being stubborn as each other but it also attracted them to one another. Aj began to grow fond of him aswell as Blueblood but not as much as it seemed like, when he found out Aj was pregnant, he was happy to have an heir to his royalties but hated the fact that it was the child of a commoner aswell so demanded that she'd leave after she gave birth and never see Spruce again. Of course Apple Jack hated this and left soon after against Blueblood's wishes, he never saw his son after he was born and gave up trying to look for him.

Apple Jack brought her son to her home as Granny helped her raise him,barely anyone knew that he was royalty though one of the signs was his clovered hooves which is usually only on royalty. Suitors and mares who wanted to marry him would appear in ponyville hearing there was a prince there, Spruce would have pros in the situation but rejected them overall. All he knew was that his dad was a 'sack of rotten apples' by his mothers words.

Hes a very kind pony and dosn't use her advantage of royalty, only telling ponies who are close to him.
