After Apple Jack left with his son Blueblood had to find a new heir, during his search he noticed he'd grown quite close to a royal guard of his, they started to hide their dating life from the others and eventually had a child, Shadow was revealed as the father and as most ponies were welcoming, Blubloods family hated it and rejected them where now they live in canterlot with Celestia who was more than pleased about the news. Noone knows about his son not even Shadow and Blu would prefer to keep it that way.

Jewel is pretty spoiled and always gets what she wants and if she dosn't then you see the true side of her. She keeps a sweet persona in public but can be a handful easily enough if she's cranky.
