It's time for another OC from my MLPFIM spin-off, "My Little Pony: Friendship Troopers". This time it's a adult stallion… And not just any stallion. It's Jungle Heart's dad.

His name is Wild Emerald, and no, he will not just appear in flashbacks. Jungle Heart does actually find both her parents, eventually. But I'm not going to spoil that part for you. (I won't spoil it, because I haven't actually worked out the details of that story yet. Hehe.)

Now, onto his biography…

Wild Emerald is one of the most spoken of archaeologists in Equestria. The only one who is more famous than him, would have to be Daring Do. But unlike Daring Do, Wild Emerald doesn't go into hiding, under an alternate name, when not on an expedition. Oh, no. He's not so very fond about the idea of keeping his discoveries a complete secret. It's not because he wants to be famous or rich, or anything like that. It's just because he feels that the ponies of Equestria have the right to know about the ancient civilisations that existed thousands of years before the founding of Equestria. He's never afraid to tackle some of the most dangerous archaeological tasks that might show up, since he believes that "A little excitement is only good for the soul.". He also holds charity events with his wife, Golden Ruby, among the rich ponies in Canterlot, even though he would rather dive into an active volcano to find some kind of lost treasure. In later years, when he became a father, he did tone down on his grand adventures, in order to be there for his daughter, but that changed on that tragic day when the family's hot air balloon crashed down in the southern jungles of Equestria, and the parents and their little foal, Emerald Heart, got separated from each other. Emerald Heart was taken in by a family of gorillas, and became known throughout the jungle as Jungle Heart. But what became of Wild Emerald and his wife, nopony knows.

Wild Emerald is a sturdy Earth Pony with blue eyes, and moss green coat, and a not too dark black moustache, mane and tail. His Cutie Mark is a big emerald, which symbolises his desire to find all of the hidden treasure of Equestria's past.
