In the settlement of Hoofington, there's a little known place called The Baker's Dozen Bakery & Cafe (or just The Baker's Dozen for short). There, you'll meet a brown & golden furred, rose-eyed Pegasus Pony named Cookie Swirl, who runs the place. Cookie is an advent baker who's good at making premier baked goods from tasty cookies to lofty loads of bread, from breakfast croissants to sweet donuts. She can even brew up a cup of coffee for you if you wish. But she doesn't just do the work herself. She has her pet bunny/assistant Cream help her out, and a couple other workers who help out with the orders. The Baker's Dozen serves as both a bakery and a cafe, so it's a good rest stop if your on the move to Ponyville, Canterlot, or the other surrounding settlements. If you need a simple thing like a donut, a cup of joe, or need an emergency cake delivery, the Baker's Dozen Bakery & Cafe is the place to go in Hoofington.

Okay so advertising done, I wanted to do this for quite sometime with my MLP O/FC Cookie Swirl. I've been wanting to practice on my BG making for like forever so I thought this would be a good opportunity. It still needs work, but its a start.

While I'm not too sure where Hoofington resides in the MLP FiM world (I think somewhere to the west northwest of Ponyville and west southwest of Canterlot if I read those maps right), I've wanted to pick that place as a story drop for my O/FCs since hearing about it back in Season 1 (Boast Busters if I'm not mistaken). And while I know about Project Horizons, my version is not in that timeline, but seeing a comic done by another artist (Dark Stranger was the name of it), it fitted so well with my headcanon of Hoofington with the hamlet-type and plenty of farmland around, sort of like Ponyville but a bit more rural. I hope to get better with my BGs to finally get started on some more key projects, but for the time being, why not have a donut or a slice of pie with ice cream at Cookie Swirl's Baker's Dozen Bakery & Cafe?
