Harmony is more bird-like than just her talons and wings ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶u̶n̶h̶o̶l̶y̶ ̶d̶e̶s̶i̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶m̶i̶c̶e̶.
As a filly who was long past walking and already knew several advance spells instinctively, Harmony was also prone to many birdish habits.
Before she could speak, like normal foals her age, she had amassed a wide variety of bird calls and noises, which wasn’t normal. Fluttershy didn’t mind too much and could actually understand her pretty well. The only con to it all was when Harmony would creep stealthily into her room at 4 a.m. and starting chirping like one of those annoying alarm clocks. Fluttershy still misses the days when her daughter would make the cutest birds noises, but she won’t be crying over these mornings.
Bird baths were ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ a favorite pastime of Harmony’s. She’d chase all the birds away and claim the bath as her own, spending hours splashing, wading, and sunning. Growing to big for them was hard on her and she can’t help sighing longingly every time she sees one.
This one is still prevalent today, though as an adult she can buy whatever seeds she wants and ‘ but those are for birds’ doesn’t work on her anymore cause I’m an adult so ha. But when she was a filly, she had a habit of sneaking into her mothers bird seeds reserves for an afternoon snack. And no that isn’t Harmony just being really cute when caught red…clawed, she really is a terribly liar, like she can’t lie to save her life it’s bad.
If you want more bird facts, there’s a few more in her bio I don’t think I mentioned here.
If you have any bird-like suggestions, I’d love to hear them. :3
