Personality:

Spunky, enthusiastic, and cheerful Taffy was born with a head full of cottony fluff and heart of gold. Ever since she little, Taffy had the reputation of being the sweetest, friendliest, most kind-hearted filly; always cheering up anypony she saw feeling down, even ponies she didn't know, and showering all those around her with affectionate hugs and homemade gifts. Best of all, she does it simply out of the desire to help others in any way possible and is more than willing to do anything you ask of her. However, her good intentions don't always turn out for the best due to her greatest obstacle; a complete lack of coordination skills. You heard me; zip, zero, nada. It's as if she's walking on ice all the time, which has her constantly running into stationery (and non-stationary) objects as well as clumsily fumbling anything her hooves touch. Becuase of her sensitive nature, this results in her being a frazzled, panicked mess half the time and she repeatedly stutters out apologies for the least little thing. Despite this daily struggle, Taffy remains optimistic and as determined as ever to spread joy to others.

Taffy is generous and open to quite literally everypony, which can be a good thing at times, but because she also has a child-like innocence and is inherently naive, wearing her heart on her sleeve leaves her vulnerable to those with less than good intentions. Although nothing tragic has happened to her yet, Taffy's family and friends are worried about her sensitive, caring little heart being crushed to pieces one day. Taffy, meanwhile, has bigger things to worry about, like all fo dragon kind. For a mare so easy going and curious that she would obliviously walk into an Ursa Major's den if you asked her too, is terrified to her core of most dragons and will only tolerate Spike and few others. No one knows quite what started this, but if you even mention the species, Taffy will have an anxiety attack. Even though this goofy, playful dork is usually unconfrontational, she will stand up to any who pony she sees dare bully or harass a weak and helpless victim. Not with punches or threats, oh no, she uses kindness to kill them, or at least, to confuse them long enough that she can either get them to back off or escape with the victim safely away.
Taffy's quite a playful pony, and her childlike, flexible nature has her always up for some light-hearted fun. Typically, she is often seen hanging out with her friends and is usually is down for whatever they want to do, especially if it's outdoors. Spending time in nature is a favorite pastime of Taffy's, especially when it's spent flying kites, having picnics, going for walks, camping, swimming on a hot day, and even bird watching ( even though she usually gets so excited when spotting one, that she scares them away.) Taffy also has an impressive and creative imagination, which can turn any boring thing into some seemingly grand adventure. She's known for being a skilled story-teller who can either make you cry your heart out over some rejected romance or make you cringe in fear with an original terrifying tale that'll keep you up at night. To Taffy, life is too full of wonderful and amazing things to just stick to one hobby, and she dabbles in everything from makeup to square dancing. But at the end of it all, the thing that most matters to Taffy, is making those around her smile.

Relationships:

Pinkie Pie:

Since both mother and daughter are fun-loving, spontaneous, kind-hearted individuals, their relationship is as easy and smooth as butter. Taffy looks up to her mom as her biggest role model and idolizes her, which isn't surprising since Pinkie is the one who inspires Taffy's desire to help others. Pinkie couldn't be prouder of her little good samaritan daughter and encourages her to push through rainy days and look on the bright side. Taffy often accompanied her mother on her errand rounds, which was a great way to meet new ponies and she remembers those early experiences as what sparked her interest in helping others. Being a big help that she was, Taffy soon earned the title as 'Itty Bitty Part Helper' and enjoyed it immensely. When they aren't stocking party supplies or handing out gifts to others, Pinkie and Taff will do…just about anything with each other. Some of their favorite activities include craft making, baking, puppet shows, and karaoke nights.

Cheese Sandwich:

Taffy is Cheese's 'sweet little angel cake' and undoubtedly one of the kiddoes he gets best along with. She doesn't mind his silly gags and embarrassing costumes, and even though she's slow, Cheese can always count on her to laugh at her wacky riddles and jokes. Whenever he comes up with a new clown routine to perform at a party, he runs it by Taffy for an honest review and a chance to make her adorable giggle come out. Occasionally, she'll even join in as his assistant for his shows, even though she's messed up several times and is now banned from juggling anything. But more than her spunky spirit and unabashedness at his humor, what Cheese loves most about Taffy is her big heart, as it reminds him of another certain pink coated mare. He adores going to hospitals with her and performs his crazy cannon acts for her audience free of charge. Along with these trips, the two also love playing checkers, visiting animals shelters, and going to festivals together.

Special:
- Taffy is as dense and oblivious as they come, with no idea in regards to what sarcasm is. She also used to struggle with metaphors when she was younger but has gotten the hang of it now; you just need to give her a few seconds to catch up. Same with jokes. Be prepared to say a funny one-liner, only to have Taffy giggling in uncontrollable laughter 20 seconds later. Spooking is another pretty easy feat when it comes to Taffy, and no matter how many times you play the same jumpscare, she will always jump out of her skin. It's a good thing she's so good-natured because otherwise, you'd up against some serious pranking revenge. But even though Taffy is naive when it comes to jokes or exaggerated storytelling, she's no dunce when it comes to ponies. She can always tell if there's something bothering even the most stoic of ponies and is pretty good at figuring out what it is, too. She's a paradox, that one is.
- Despite being friendly and outgoing with almost everypony, there is one species of her kind that she tries to avoid as much as possible, boys. Of course, not the little colts who ask her for band-aids and help with their science project, or the older stallions like the ones she plays "Go Fish" with at the Ponyville retirement home. No, I'm talking about teenage boys, the kind that are her own age. Taffy maybe super sweet, but she becomes the personification of awkwardness whenever she runs into one of these stallions, especially if they're cute. Symptoms include stuttering, blushing, flustered speech, and freezing for a solid 5 minutes should one of them ever slightly touch her. No one knows for sure why this happens, but some seem to think it's just because of how easily intimidated she is by these ruggedly good-looking fellas. On a related note, you might be surprised to learn that Taffy isn't much of a romantic and has never confessed to having a crush (yet).
- Taffy, as was earlier described, is probably the most clutzy of my next gen here. No one is quite sure why, but there are several theories. One is that, because of her light bones and long, thin legs, that she naturally has a hard time keeping her balance and coordination. Another is that because a part of her mane is always covering up half of her face, that she can't see as well and as a result, runs into things more often. The third most famous hypothesis is that since Taffy usually has her head in the clouds, she ends up being oblivious to her surroundings and doesn't pay attention to where she is going. Are these all false, or do some of them have some truth to them? No one's been able to pin it down. All they know is to steer clear of Taffy when holding something, and especially when she's holding something.
- From the time she was a filly, Taffy's had an obsession passion for making crafts of all sorts! The floor has been littered with craft supplies, shreddings, empty glue bottles, scorch marks and failed attempts at experimentations, ever since she can remember. Her room has only been spotless one time in her life, and that was by Carmel's doing. Of course, it didn't stay clean for long, and Carmel eventually gave up and let Taffy do things her way. As much as Taffy loves to craft things and give her creations to other ponies, she especially loves helping teach others the joy of crafting.
