- Charleston is the first and only child of Frederic Horeshoepin and Octavia Melody. Following after his parents, Charlie fell in love with classical music and even tried to bring together his own orchestra when he was a foal; which resulted in a lot of noises and no harmony, but he was a colt, so his parents werent too hard on him. Eventually he grew up and became an actual conductor; composing his own music and actually performing it very well.

- Despite being raised in the high end musical lifestyle, every once in a while, Charleston likes to relax and listen to other genres; Specifically, and surprisingly, symphonic metal. He tries to keep this side hidden from ponies unless he feels close to them.

- Charleston has a crush on Charity after meeting her after a semi-forced blind date. He actually ended up liking her, but decided to just be friends for the time being. They still go out together from time to time, but nothing serious despite Charlie's developing feelings for her.
