Personality:

Caramel Frappuccino, better known as “Queen Beats” is a sassy singer with a powerful voice, but despite her rather fabulous demeanor, Caramel is actually pretty laid back and down to earth. She makes as much time for her fans as possible, and is constantly giving out autographs to excited ponies. Caramel is also a tad bit flirty, towards stallions and mares both.


Background:

Donut Joe and Cinnamon Chai met during a competitive baking contest when they tied at first place, after which they became friends. Joe liked to visit Cinnamon whenever he could, despite being much more of a coffee pony he’d always go have a cup of her “world famous” (as he called it) cinnamon chai tea when he could.


Eventually their friendship turned into something similar to being friends with benefits, and they’d occasionally go on dates when they felt like it. At one point Cinnamon got a boyfriend, and although they weren’t officially together, it made Joe rather jealous. The boyfriend ended up being a complete piece of trash in the end, and when he dumped Cinnamon for a prettier mare, Joe was right there for her with plenty of ice cream and sappy soap opera movies on hand.


It was in that moment that Cinnamon knew Joe was the one, as they sat side by side on her couch, sharing a tub of ice cream under a blanket while watching Magic Mustang and cuddling. Eventually the relationship became a little more serious, that was around the time that their lives changed forever.


Cinnamon Chai was pregnant.


It shocked everyone, seeing that Cinnamon had always been told she wasn't able to have a child due to certain issues. In the beginning, Cinnamon was scared to get excited about the baby, fearing that she would lose it somehow. Cinnamon spent the first few months worrying, until she was finally okay to relax a bit more upon seeing the first signs of a baby bump.


The pregnancy went rather well, and eventually a healthy baby girl was born, to Cinnamon and Joe’s relief. Soon after the baby was born they managed to move into a house that they’d been looking at for awhile, and things started to come together for the young couple.


Joe and Cinnamon managed to open up their own tea and coffee shop, ”The Equestrian Cup”. The shop actually made it out pretty decently and managed to make them a cozy little profit, ponies apparently really liked their coffee in the morning.


When Caramel was old enough she started working part time at her parent’s shop, often cleaning tables and washing dishes to start, then she became a barista when her parents deemed her old enough to be trusted with coffee machines. Despite the fact that it was nice spending time with her parents, a teen needs her own time.


This was around the time that Caramel discovered her love for music, often sneaking out to go to parties where amatuer bands played. Then came the time where she had to explain to her parents that she didn't want to work in the food industry, and they were absolutely mortified. Despite their hesitation, Joe and Cinnamon tried their best to support their daughter.


As Caramel got older she wanted to leave home, to go find her place in the world, and although her parents were scared they let her go. After that Caramel traveled to Manehattan, where she began to perform in lounges and bars, hoping to gain some recognition. After one of her performances, a stallion offered her a way to fame, and she kindly turned him down due to finding him rather creepy.


Caramel eventually did find fame in her own way, and now sells out in auditoriums around Equestria. Cinnamon and Joe are extremely proud of their daughter, and go to her shows when they have the time to do so, (they always get in for free as VIP members, so they just need free time to come see her).


Relationships:

Caramel loves her parents, despite the fact that they can be a bit overbearing at times (like any parents can of course). She visits them as often as possible, and invites them to her shows often whenever she’s performing somewhere close to home.


Jackson was one of the first friends Caramel had as a kid, they were both kind of odd kids and got along well. As they got older, Jackson started becoming interested in mane styling and makeup, and often practiced on Caramel for fun. When Caramel became a performer, Jackson was right there with her as her personal stylist, helping her glob on the thick eyeshadow that she’s known for sporting during her live shows. Caramel also supported Jackson with a passion during the few times he tried drag, and went to every show he performed at.


Caramel had a relationship with Sky Diver at one point, after meeting her during a trip to Ponyville. The two got along well and shared many interests, such as music and coffee that was a bit too strong for the sensitive palate’s taste. The two often bonded over campfires late at night, sitting with a guitar and lots of thoughts to talk about. Caramel treasures these memories and often makes time to visit Sky Diver, and together they reminisce about their younger days.


Other:

~ only family members and close friends call Caramel by her real name, her fans all know her as Queen Beats, and often refer to her as Queen.
