A scene from a short story OPlease wrote as part of an art jam. I don't know if he wants me to share the story, but he based it on the very limited amount of information I gave him about dragon shamans in my MLPverse.

Shamans are large and ancient even by dragon standards. They live isolated lives on Blue Mountain Island and are very well-educated. They are so old that their scales have turned to stone in some places and they have plants growing on their bodies, with some of the really old ones carrying around entire self-sustaining ecosystems on their backs.
Shamans are quite revered for their size, wisdom and age. Ordinary dragons only seek them out when they have spiritual questions or need a cure for a disease. The lifestyle of the shamans and the key to their longevity is kept secret, as are their identities. They live until their bodies completely petrify as a result of their scales hardening with age, turning them into landmarks.

This particular shaman is relatively young, as evidenced by the lack of stony scales and the fact she is only covered in dirt and moss.
