Old and bearded Shining Armor. I first drew him with one months ago on drawing of him and older Flurry Heart.

Few notes that came to my mind randomly connected to this drawing(for my AU and general head-canons):- Shiny super proud he could grow a beard. Especially after his father told him he can't, nor his father, nor his father's father and so on.- After he fully retires as captain of the royal guards and and the new one takes his place, he tries to wear royal regalia more. Emphasis on 'tries', as he sometimes automaticly puts on his royal armor. Hard to shake of old habits.


Some other notes:- His actually not that old here, his around like 45.- The color scheme of his royal regalia based on the Crystal Emprie flag's colors, minus the gold/yellow.- The snowflake medal is the snowflake symbol from the flag.- I was originally planning to put his cutie mark on the shoulder parts of the cloths. In the end didn't do it, cos it's not full body covering and his cutie mark can be seen just fine. Also I realized the colors would just clash to much for my taste.
