- Nessie Belle is the first and only child of Button Mash and Sweetie Belle. Although she appears to be the girly type at first glance, she loves to nerd out and play video games with her father just as much as she likes dressing up and singing karaoke with her mother.

- Nessie's foalhood friend, Scooter, is basically always by her side. Although he has his awkward moments, Scooter is quick to argue in Nessie's honor. If anypony tries to say anything nasty to her, Scooter is right there defending her; before Nessie could even say anything otherwise.

- Nessie loves her little cousin, Celestine, and is always trying to dress her up when cousin Clarity turns her back. Nessie's influences weigh heavily from her Aunt Rarity.

- Fun fact: Nessie Belle was named after the game console, "NES" (Nintendo Entertainment System).
