It's always struck me as odd — the idea that cropping an image can make it better. At first I've been resistant to the idea, since you can always take something and crop it yourself.
But the point of delivering a product is an end-user experience, and that involves making it easier to get in its best form — ie, if it's improved by a crop, I should do the crop, myself.
Honestly I feel like it looks even better if you zoom in a bit more, even — but I don't want to cut her hoovsies out, those ballerina slippers are cute!
Anyways, here despite all that "more is more" idea, I think it honestly does look a bit better like this — putting a lot more emphasis and foreground on the beautiful part of it, allowing you to see all her details and shading better. I'm quite happy with it. And with getting closer to her
