ive been thinking a lot about the stuff that happened before nightmare moon. id say that it wasnt such a sudden thing as they try and make it out to be in the show, and more of a gradual build up of hatred and jealousy aided by her sister.

i have a lot im actually thinking about but i think ill save on writing them out just yet, im probably gonna make a hc post including the designs ive used here (they look different to my existing headcanon drawings because not only are they both younger, luna isnt nightmare moon yet so she hasnt got the permanent marks on her just yet).

ive fallen in love with the evelyn evelyn album, and i thought the first song of the same name is really fitting for them. like a back and forth theyd have, building up to luna's transformation. i imagine this is the first spat in which Celestia recognised what was going on with her sister

im definitely going to explore them more in the future. im on a little bit of a luna kick lol
