In response to this because I'm tired, bored, and need to draw something to help me sleep.

As random as this is, I'm slightly surprised there hasn't a Cockatrice pony by now…

Just some concept art I whipped up in all of a good 10 or so minutes. Since I'm a bit shaky and the handwriting is a bit sloppy, let me translate it for y'all. Plus, it'll also contain some stuff I may have forgotten or left out of the writing.

#1.
•No front hooves.
•Wing arms.
•Head and general body structure of a pony.
•Talons on hind legs.
•Cockatrice Tail that also helps with balance.
•Can run speeds upwards to 40-50 MPH.
•Usually grows onwards up to ¾-2½ feet.
•The body is based off of the traditional cockatrice colors.
•Eyes are always red.

#2.
•More ponylike.
•Always blank flank
•Retractable talons in all hooves.
•Tail acts more like a leonine tail, has small and sharp spines beneath the hair growing out.
•Victims have a unique marking from each Ponitrice (compensates for the lack of a physical cutie mark).
•Usually are less than 1 foot shorter than normal ponies.
•Despite being mammals, they can still lay eggs.
•The body color is usually determined by their normal counterpart's cutie mark, or their natural eye color.
•When threatened, their eyes will become red.

Anyway, what do y'all think of these? which would work better? Maybe they both can exist, just with maybe one of them being a more feral version? Give me your thought down below! And sorry if I missed some features of the cockatrice, my phone was dead at the time of drawing these.
