Violet Light Sparkle had never known her father. She had not been told about anything…
One day, she heard Starlight talking to Fluttershy about a place called the Dragonlands, and how she had been called on the Map with Twilight.
She secretly had followed the two in their supply wagon, trying to stay as silent as she could. When they arrived, the place looked like it had been in ruins.
The grass was completely gone, the skies were grey, and the mountains were bare. only the smoke of the homes in the Dragonlands gave the sky any character.

Violet didn't know why, but she felt as if their was a presence. A presence of family, and not because of Twilight. She had gotten used to hers a long time ago.
While their backs will still turned, Violet jumped out of the wagon, and ran through the nearby trees and went to the mountains.

Twilight knew something was up, but didn't expect for her daughter to jump out of the wagon and head strait towards the Dragonlands.
She didn't even realize her daughter had stowed away in their wagon!
Fearful of her child's safety, she ran after her, and Starlight followed suit.

Violet kept running, and once she reached the top of the hill, she collapsed. Out of breath, she laid on her side.
She stayed like that for a while, not knowing that she had been followed not by her mother, but by two young dragons.
One was a sky blue dragon, with matching dark blue spikes and purple gradient wings. She had Ivory horns in the sides of her head, and deep red eyes.
The other dragon was purple, with green spikes and wings, and emerald eyes. He didn't have horns, but strange lime scales on the sides of his head.

"V… Voilet?" The purple dragon spoke, his voice holding a sense of surprise.

"You know this pony!? She's only a filly!" The blue dragon exclaimed, "Older ponies I would understand, but how would you recognize a filly!?"

"I… Um…"

"Ugh, it doesn't matter. Ponies aren't allowed her in the first place!"

"A-Aren't allowed?" Violet spoke, her voice a bit raspy from her run.

The presence was very strong. She didn't understand the feeling, but the more she thought on it, the more it grew… Until she had realized what it meant-

A blast of pinkish-purple magic came from the other direction, striking the blue dragon in front of her.
Violet had been surrounded in blue magic, as Starlight picked her up and set Violet beside her.
She then teleported both her and Twilight back to the entrance of the Dragonlands, where the wagon still sat.

"Violet, what in Celestia's name were you thinking!?" Twilight had snapped, "You could've gotten yourself hurt, or even killed!" She was on the brink of tearing up.
Starlight had stood next to Twilight, the Alicorn now crying, in fear of her daughter having come in contact of the dragons.

"Mom… I… I thought about something. You never had told me about my papa, you said he was around when I was younger, but you said he wouldn't be around anymore.
I wanted to know who my papa was, so I thought if I followed you, I… I would find him."

Twilight was silent for a moment. "I…" She stuttered," I wish you hadn't come here, Violet."

Starlight still stood next to Twilight, but looking down at Violet in worry. he glanced at Twilight, knowing she wouldn't be able to tell her herself.
She knew that she had to tell Violet about her father for her.

She sighed, and cleared her throat, before she said, "I guess it's time you knew the truth, Violet…"
