- Polo is the first born to Hondo Flanks and Cookie Crumbles.

- Polo is basically a doormat and a bit awkward around other ponies. He gets embarressed by his parents because they crowd him and tell other ponies "hes going to be with us forever!", pressuring him into feeling like he's not good enough to go out on his own like his sisters.

- Polo isnt good at anything and thinks of himself as a failure because of it. He tried playing football like his father, was on the bench in every game after multiple failed attempts at kicking the ball. Tried baking like his mother, burnt the cookies. Any other hobby he attempts at he is not good at either… he even messes up drawing circles.

- He admires Rarity for her confidence, and hopes to be like her someday. Not in the way of fashion or anything, just with her generosity and confidence.

- Worried he'll be stuck at home for the rest of his life as their "precious baby boy".

Polo Pizzelle's name is inspired by his parents: Polo for the game, linked to sports after Hondo, and Pizzelles are a type of cookie; of course in relation to Cookie Crumbles.

For him, I figured a quiet, shut in would be an interesting sibling for someone as gregarious and unique as Rarity is.. Even Sweetie Belle has her own moments in the spotlight, so I felt a brother like Polo would be a nice addition.

I made him the oldest because I thought it would add more to his character having the two younger sisters.
