Rarity Belle
- Firstborn daughter of Cookie Crumble and Hondo Flanks. Rarity, despite growing up in little old Ponyville, had dreams of being like the Canterlot Elite. She saw herself as an elegant unicorn — and very much is, as her father would tell her. Because of her flamboyancy, she was subject to a lot of teasing in high school — viewed as either a ridiculous pony who needed to get her head out of the clouds or a pony that thought she was better than everyone else. This teasing forced her to look inward a lot, and she knew she needed to tone it down if she ever wanted to keep a friend, and so she did. Once she'd done this, friends came flocking to her, drawn even more so to her thanks to her skill at dressmaking (prom season was very profitable for her), sadly the only friend that alluded her most of her teen life was the local farm girl Applejack. The two were heavy rivals and ready to leave it at that — until Twilight came along of course.
- Rarity really struggled, and continues to struggle, with her weight and thanks to Equestria's views on what a beautiful body looks like she had nowhere to turn. She puts this feeling of loneliness and hatred and reverses them in her work. She doesn't want any other pony who would be seen as overweight to feel they had to fit a specific box so uses a diverse range of ponies to model her clothes.
- She was 7 when her sister was born, and she adored the bones of her, while she did grow distant during her teen years (as many do) Sweetie Belle stays with her sister on weekends, and they immensely enjoy that

Sweetie Belle
- Secondborn daughter of Cookie Crumble and Hondo Flanks. Sweetie was rather a late child, born at the end of August instead of the beginning like she had been supposed to, and this reflected on the rest of her development. While she did have uncontrolled bursts of magic in her early toddler stage, she seemed to be unable to learn to refine and control it. At 5, her emotional magic flow stopped completely, causing a lot of concern. Despite this, she was very clever for her age and ended up going into education a year earlier than normal.
- She viewed her big sister as the most perfect pony in the world and copied her every move until it was an unconscious thing to do. She made herself a clone, which ended up annoying Rarity to the point that Rarity would stop talking to her. Meeting Scootaloo at the end of Elementary School helped Sweetie Belle see the issue. She still struggles with trying to separate Rarity from her own personality, but is doing her best and is very glad to have her sister back with her.

Messing about with alternate designs and I like drawing the rare bear. Thought I'd add Sweetie Belle as well for comparison.
