Background:
Shadow Light was born on a bright, sunny morning to Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Flash Sentry. All of Equestria had waited for the filly to be born when her parents had announced that they were expecting. When she arived, there was a two-day celebration for her. Everypony was excited for the new princess. Everyone was expecting an alicorn to be born, because that's what had happend last time, but Shadow was an unicorn. Shadow being an unicorn was a sigh of relief to Twilight and Flash. They've already seen what Cadence and Shining Armor had to go through, so they were glad that their journey through parenthood was going to be a bit eaiser.

Shadow Light was a bright and courious filly. She was always intrested in princess stuff along with magic. She would follow her mother around as she did her daily tasks. Shadow was definitly in awe when her mother's apperence began to change. Twilight is her biggest inspiration, and she always will be. Shadow wanted to do the same thing her mom did; spread friendship across equestria.

Twilight had homeschooled Shadow Light in her early school years, so Shadow never really got out much. Because of this, she's pretty innocent. She's a smart girl, but still pretty guilible. She may or may not understand sometimes what her friends might be talking about or the jokes they make. Also because of the homeschooling, Shadow didn't have a chance to make very many friends. Her bestfriend growing up was her mom's friends son, Spectrum. They spent a lot of time together when they were younger. She began to grow a crush on him when they got s little older. She doesn't see Spectrum as much as she likes to anymore. They kinda began to grow apart, and she doesn't like it.

Shadow Light has always been a helpful girl. She loves doing charity work, especcially with her mother. Every time Twilight has hosted a charity event, Shadow has gone. When she was about eleven years old, Shadow had the idea to make and give cookies to the orphans in Ponyville. Twilight, of course, wanted to help, but Shadow wanted to do it on her own. Twilight at first was skeptical of letting her daughter do this by herself, but nether the less, she let her do it. Shadow took surveys of each kid to see what kind of cookies they liked. She then, with the help of her aunt Pinkie Pie, baked the cookies herself. The next day, she brought the cookies to the the orphanage. Shadow even stayed and played with the kids all afternoon. She was super tired that night, so tired that she haven't even noticed that her cutie mark appeared.

~ Other ponies think that because she's Princess Twilight's daughter she'd be at the top of her class, but she's really just an average student

My next gen characters have really changed a lot since the last time I had made references for them. There's a new mane 6 for my next gen as well (if you been following along with the story then you probably know who they are). I needed to make some new references. Some of the characters got new designs, but it's nothing drastically different to the point where you can't recognize them.
