At the recent wedding eve celebration of two great bronie fans I took an empty baileys bottle along. It is very dark, almost black glass which is an interesting basis for glass engraving and I had for a while entertained the idea of engraving Chrysalis into dark glass.
I love the comics by Andy Price and one of his earliest MLP comics includes a panel which I consider one of the most epic looking MLP panels to this day. That epic panel is the basis for this engraving.
