The Phoenix constellation had never sent a Saint to fight on the Creation, not in many eras. It is said, that being chosen by the Phoenix Cloth is both a curse and a blessing, for the Phoenix is a bird that requires great sacrifice, pain and suffering. Yet the price to pay guarantees an inmense power, and most of all, immortality, for the Phoenix always rises from it’s dying ashes, and so does the wearer of the Phoenix Cloth.

Sunset Shimmer takes part in the final era, after the Betrayal of the Sun Cataclysm, and her powers go far beyond anything a regular Gold Saint is able to do, let alone the rest of the Bronze Saints. Her valiant attitude and strong sense of revenge is to be feared, not even Daybreaker’s Archangels dare to face her.

Although she loves living things and treasures the meaning of friendship, she rather fight alone and taking her own path, for her power is so great, she might even endanger her allies.

She defeated both Garuda Celaeno and Wyvern Tempest Shadow in combat, yet spared her lives, for she understood they were meant to play an important part in the final battle to come…
