Well, it is too late for some epic MLP headcanons, right? But still I want to present something. And again there's a reason I want to portray the subject in a different way than most do. When we talk about pony-Russia, we usually mean almost the only topic — Stalliongrad with revolutions and overthrow of the tyrant Celestia. This is the first reason. Why it is necessary to kick a canon and involve politics in its worst look? The second reason is the fear of going too far and the resulting habit of sculpting the whole world in small pieces around one big Equestria. Why do we depict a country as epic as our canonical equestrian USA as a single city?
So, since there are only a few representatives in the national so to speak costumes, I'll start with general things. The source of the name is a russian word "Рысь" ("Rys", I don't know exactly how to) which means "trot" (but also lynx lol). And, by the way, another problem of binding to the standards of the canon — "Stalliongrad" was still English. This country is exactly on the part of their globe that remains behind the scenes — between presumably zebras in the West (that piece of Savannah on the map) and griffins in the East. Of course, leaving still a fair amount of space for other things, but about you can imagine. I hope so. Because the exact geography is not yet ready.
