The hefty motor in the compartment just to the pegasus' right inside the inflatable carrier revved as he laid on the throttle further, moving the tracks underneath just that slightest bit more quickly. Overtaken by the feeling of acceleration, it took him a moment to refocus out of the periscopes supplied for vision, only then catching sight of the pony standing clean in the middle of the road. He blunk a couple times to confirm he wasn't just seeing things, the speed of the carrier offering scant few moments to react as the mare looked about in confusion. Wanting to avoid a full-on impact, the pegasus pulled the left stick back hard, doing his best to swerve the inflatable vehicle away — and right into the edge of a thick grove of trees.
The tracks carried the vehicle up onto the dense greenery, their inflatable nature allowing some bounce as momentum sent it careening into the air, starting to roll. The pegasus driving it quickly found himself falling against the inflatable inner wall separating him from the revving engine, the tracks spinning wildly as they met no resistance while airborne. As the vehicle began to fall onto it's side, the pegasus at the controls could only offer a small prayer of thanks that the interior would at least give some comfort and protection form the eventual impact — followed by another prayer that he'd managed to miss the mare on the road, as well.
The cellist on the path was still trying to suss out what that odd noise she was hearing was. Didn't sound like a dragon, or an instrument, or most anything she'd heard before… especially with all the squeaking that was coming with it. There was a sudden crunch of leaves and branches being shunted out of the way as the noise shot up in pitch, a loud wooshing sound filling the air behind her as a massive shadow blocked out light above her. Not having the time to even look back at it's source, her mind only had the time to let her mouth make out two words prior to impact. Ones that, funnily enough, the pegasus inside the vehicle shared in that same moment.
"Oh, bugger."
