Halloween commission for BenHerrin !
Every time I work with Ben on commissions I have a lot of fun! This time he wrote me a short story, that I can put under this art. :)
This picture is result of cooperation with my husband. He gave me an awesome idea of levitating apple and Applejack eyelash shadow and… magic powder (explained below). :)
Sometimes when I am sitting and drawing some art, he comes along and add great ideas into my head, for all of you to enjoy. :)

You all probably wonder, why Ben horn have magic aura in two colors?
As you may know, Ben's magic aura is blue, just like his eyes, but this time we can see, that his magic have two colors, why? My husband came up with this awesome idea of… special, magical powder, that when put on a horn, onto the crevices, it changes the original aura of one pony magic into the color of the powder. That is why there is this change from the original blue into the final red one in the picture.
Red color fits better the vampire style! :)
I would never thought of that before XD but my husband have a head filled with ideas.

“What are you going as, AJ?” asked Ben as he brushed his teeth.
“Batpony,” Applejack answered as she pulled back the covers.
“Hah!”
“How ‘bout you?”
“Vampire. Bleh-bleh-bleh!” Ben said as he struck a pose in the bathroom door.
“Oooh, nice!”
“What are the foals doing?” asked Ben as he settled in bed.
“Jonathan is goin’ as a scarecrow and Sing-Sing’s a’goin’ as Princess Celestia.”
“Really?”
“Yep.”
AJ settled next to Ben, her head on his right shoulder.
“With her white coat, all she needed was a wig, wings and a horn. Rarity made her the wings.”
“I can’t wait. ‘Night, hon.”
Ben gave AJ a light kiss which she returned.
“’Night, Malarkey. See ya in the mornin’.”
Ben turned off the light and both dropped off at once.
