For Trixie Day 2018 I drew this little scene.
With her outfit and difficulties to perform actual magic Trixie is pretty much begging to be put into the place of the Sorcerer's apprentice of the famous poem by Goethe (made known in the English speaking world mostly through Mickey Mouse playing that role in Fantasia). The discorded broomstick floating in the teacup based flood is another reference to that poem. The teapot pouring out over Starlight (protected by Twilight's spell) is another case of Trixie messing up Twilight's tableware and I leave it to the viewer to decide whether it was well intended or mischievous mocking on Trixie's part ;-)
