Based on the GIF that inspired the fictional Vozonid civilisation in my Rabydosverse fiction.

Gryphons are revered in Vozonid mythology, and according to Vozonid legend the first emperor of the earliest Sarmelonid dynasty — Aronzo Skarojon Sarmelonizo, later Emperor Sarmelon I — was supposedly crowned by a gryphon. Even if this did not happen, images of emperors being crowned by gryphons represented the Vozonids' belief that their emperors' authority was mandated by the gods.
