Marr Bell (gorgon pony) Custom Plush for
Character within the fanfiction written by
Marr is made from silver, charcoal and ash minky.
Her eyes were embroidered with a Brother Innovis 750D embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software, and feature gradient embroidery. The gradient embroidery has an amazing glowing/shining quality that is hard to capture in pictures (see pic top right). The eyes were designed and digitised by me. Her pattern was also designed by me. She is 19 inches to the top of her head. Her snake portion is approximately 65" long from her torso, but has been sewn into a coil as pictured so she may support herself upright. The shining scales on her body are made from appliqued Angelina Fibers, and shimmer spectacularly under light (much like a snakes scales, see pic top right). The dark scales were airbrushed using a hand made stencil.
Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.
I just couldn't be prouder of how this plush came out. It is so different from anything I've ever seen or attempted, and I tried out several cool techniques to make it even more special. The angelina fiber scales really are spectacular in person. The shimmer and iridescent colours they shine with is really something to behold. I was also super thrilled with how the airbrushed scale pattern came out. It really makes her snake portion look scaly imo, but it is still super soft. It was so awesome to get to work on such a unique project.
I hope you love her!
