Marvel: Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover in history…
— Hold my beer…
Hello again, my DA watchers, yours truly has finally come around to post a Halloween related picture that I seem to be posting…the day after…. Sorry for the slight delay yet I was a bit busy with other things as well as taking as much time to fix anything in the picture I've worked on. Oh well, not everything needs to be on point esp over a holiday and it's best to improve on how the picture will look in the end. This took me days to finally think of something for the image and even when I thought of the costumes for my favorite characters, it wasn't easy to think of how it's gonna be. I tried doing a selfie format or at least a group picture of them all huddled next to each other but I personally wanted them strolling through the neighborhood to get some candy which I finally managed to do in the end. It took me since yesteryear to decide that I should start from scratch and find references so I slowly picked up and resize everyone to be even while expanding the canvas to provide alot of space for all.
As for the costumes, it gave me a bit of time earlier in the month of brainstorming as to how one would dress for Halloween/Nightmare Night and bah gawd did I came up with something grand… The costumes I've chosen just seems to "suit" them to a 'T' and I couldn't be anymore happier on how each came out. Hell I'll admit that these costumes are alooooooot better than the ones I've drawn in my older picture. alongside the entire drawing So for the following…
Indigo Zap as Rusty Rivets: I'll admit I had few other ideas for her costume esp if one were to relate to a meme yet previous ideas didn't seem to catch my interest so I settled for something else… Then it suddenly hit me as I seem to found a costume fitting her and for a good reason… If you don't know who Rusty Rivets is then Google it or search an intro on YouTube and you'll see why.
Sugarcoat as Clementine: Not sure if it's an odd choice but I would imagine from Sugarcoat's POV that she loves video games with decision-making esp Telltale Games: Walking Dead which has her attached to the characters, especially Clementine. Knowing the company is gonna shut down, it'll probably break her heart so I'm sure she wanted to do a tribute by dressing up as her favorite character.
Sunny Flare as Mikasa Ackerman: I can imagine Sunny Flare being into anime so I wouldn't be surprised if she likes to cosplay/dressup as her favorite anime characters time to time, meaning it's not limited to just Halloween/Nightmare Nights. All in all I've been getting into Attack on Titan recently even if I do heard of the anime since 2013 and I love it I'm on S1 though actually so no spoilers please. so I wouldn't be surprised for Sunny Flare to be into it especially as she probably has her favorites of badass female characters.
Sour Sweet as trap bowser Bowsette: I FREAKING LOVE THE INTERNET FOR THE CREATION OF BOWSETTE!X3 I can't help but laugh on how it was created and pretty much blew up the internet.XD This one was pretty fun to work on and using Sour Sweet fits well (she represents the red-haired Bowsette even if Nintendo did had plans to make one but scrapped it as they didn't want Mario to hit Peach) as I know she loves the idea to be this fierce scary Koopa queen except she isn't really in it for the memes. She saw some fanart by looking through Indigo's phone and loved on how Bowsette looks so she decided to dress up as her for a specific contest.
Twilight as Eleven (plus Spike as a Ghostbuster): No words can describe on how fitting it is for Twilight/Sci-Twi to be dressed as Eleven… Even the blonde wig was a good addition to her. Spike, I more or less wanted him to be dressed as an Eggo waffle yet having him dressed as a Ghostbuster seems just as good if any of you watch Stranger Things. As or the bloody nose Sci-Twi has, that's part of the costume/gimmick so it's not really actual anime noseblood.
Lemon Zest as Mariya Takeuchi: And the last one…Lemon dressing up as the Japanese pop sensation of the 80s, Mariya Takeuchi aka the singer who sung Plastic Love aka the song that might appear in your Recommended in YT if you happen to come across it. Yeh, I had been in a fix over listening to City Pop for months now and I like it while drawing. I was familiar with how the songs were used in Vaporwave so playing the song gotten me to be addicted to it and searched for more of the genre afterwards. I'm sure the same happened to Lemon as she was browsing somewhere on YT and found the song by accident or someone recommended it to her and became her jam since then. BTW…with Lemon dying her hair black, it was probably her own way to not only dress up as the singer but just to respect her and fellow City Pop artists but I'm sure I can make an alternative edit to her natural green-colored hair if it's too much for her to cosplay as the singer.
P.S I wanted to make a script/fic but considering it's really late to where I live, I'll work on it on through Sta.Sh and attach it to the picture as I doubt there will be space.
I hope you guys enjoy the picture and even though not many are into crossovers, please have some respect as I did so much to draw this image… they aren't as terrible as those god-awful Sci-Twi x Godzilla pic…>.>. I barely make crossovers these days yet since Halloween is a thing for those to dress up as other characters from other franchises then I guess that's alright, I personally do crossovers if it fits instead of random.
HAPPY LATE HALLOWEEN, Y'ALL!
