A little while down the line Carolina Chai ends up opening her own tea shop in ponyville and she's quite successful but one day a little filly from Dodge Junction happens to stop in right around closing and Carolina of course serves her, hearing the weariness in the other mare's voice. The two get to talking and and Chocolat shares her love of chocolate cherry treats. The two end up talking long past closing and into the evening. When Carolina asked Chocolat where she was staying, the other earth pony hadn't figured that out yet so Carolina offers her place for the night. Chocolat is hesitant to impose but she would probably be hard pressed to find something this late so she accepts. Over the course of a few days the girls come up with the idea to expand Carolina's tea line with sweet desserts and they end up going into business together!
