It's been a while so I felt the need to reestablish my mane six ships. I would have included Starlight (cough-best pony-cough) but she didn't fit and I don't feel like squeezing her in tonight.

Twilight Sparkle and Tempest Shadow: Tempest returned to Equestria after months of travel to find Twilight married to Princess Celestia. While she was hurt by this, she chose to serve by Twilight's side as the captain of her Star Guard and when needed, as Twilight's personal body guard. After Celestia vanished, Tempest remained by her side, helping her through the worst days and making sure she kept herself healthy. As the years went by, they got closer until someone (neither remembers who started it) kissed the other. They then began exchanging a kiss with one another throughout the days until they were caught. Tempest wanted to take the blame, not wanting to shame Twilight by being her partner but Twilight boldly declared "Why can't I kiss the pony I love? Is that wrong?" While they never truly got married, for various reasons, they remain close and always are found exchanging chaste smooches.
Children: Sirius Veil (TxC), Hazy Sky (Adopted) and Nova Flare (TxT)

Rainbow Dash and Quibble Pants: The two of them always hung out at conventions and other stuff. Whenever Quibble asked her to go out, she'd agree, always enjoying their time together despite all the arguments that had. Quibble loved debating with Rainbow and Rainbow loved all the cool ideas Quibble came up with despite some of his ideas being unrealistic or too realistic. It was only when someone mentioned that they looked to be a couple that Dash got super nervous. Quibble laughed it off but Rainbow stewed over it, trying to figure out what to do about it. She tried friendzoning him but he called her bluff, pretending to get with some other mare who was, according to Rainbow, 'not even half as cool as I am! After stumbling (following) onto their date and seeing said mare insult his manuscripts, she burst in, defending his works.

RD: Sure he might be too up his own ass about things-

RD: and the characters might be a bit OP for anyone to buy them

Fluttershy, Iron Will and King Sombra: Unlike her friends, Fluttershy has two husbands. Her first husband is Iron Will, who kept returning to Ponyville to make her feel satisfied. He might not have gotten her to accept his way of being assertive but she was satisfied by his company and companionship. They got married and raised their first child, Ash, whom they had found on their doorstep months before. Some time later, their first child together was born. After that, Iron went on a business trip and discovered a nearly dead King Sombra hiding in the frozen north. Not knowing who he was or why his horn was broken, Iron brought him home. Fluttershy was scared at first, remembering how this stallion had tried to destroy them but she also knew he was hurt and needed help. Warily, Fluttershy treated him while Iron acted as her body guard. The gentle kindness of Fluttershy and the infectious joy of Iron Will tore down his walls and allowed Sombra to open up to them both.
Children: Acheron (Adopted), Sea Holly (FxI), Diopside (SxI) and Marigold (SxF)

Applejack and Flim: So I was reading a clop fic before about Applejack and Flim in which they meet at a bar, drunk as hell and falling into bed together. I liked the idea so I'm using it here. The first time they ended up together, Applejack insisted it was a mistake that she'd never repeat. Despite that, they kept meeting up every once in a while, though it was mostly just hate-screwing, according to AJ. After a while, she began seeing him out side of their hotel room and going on 'absolutely not a date'. Flim was just happy to have gotten her attention at long last. For an honest mare, she sure did lie about her feelings a lot. It was only when she found herself pregnant that she chose to give Flim a chance to go out in public. While the two got a lot of stares, they both enjoyed each others company enough to drown them out.
Children: Sweet Deal and Cinnamon Apple

Rarity and Fancy Pants: Rarity left quite the impression of Fancy, making him go out of his way to try and bump into her. When Twilight came to Canterlot, he was greatly disappointed Rarity hadn't come with and had to make an excuse for meeting with her. (My explanation for his behavior in Princess Spike) When she was in town, she was always working at her boutique and he couldn't find an opportunity to see her outside the store. He had to use his sister, Fleur di Lis, as a cover to enter the store and talk to her. While she was very formal at first, Rarity began to look forward to his visits, though he kept insisting that he was only there to accompany his sister. After weeks of this, Sassy got tired of all the tension and unspoken words and just blurted out 'Just ask her out already!'
Children: Crescent Moonstone (Adopted) and Lapis Hondo Lazuli (Surrogate)

Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich: Pinkie is a party mare. She isn't as wild as her younger counterparts but neither are they as beloved as Pinkie. Because of her nature as a flighty and carefree mare, all of the stallions and mares she shacks up with have this image of her as an eternal bachelorette. In reality, Pinkie greatly admires her parents and wants to have a marriage like them. Decades spent together, happy with children who love her. But since she always acts like a goofball, no one thinks she wants to settle down. They think she wouldn't want to get married or settle down when there is more fun to be had single. It's because of this that Pinkie is the last of the mane six to get married and why it is that no one has ever asked for her hoof. Until Cheese Sandwich returned with his heart and a ring in his hoof. Despite the fact that Pinkie already had a child out of wedlock, Cheese asked her to marry him and she cried.
