Following heavy losses to the Royal Guards in 1006, a reserve unit developed out of a need for better training and organization of existing militia. The Royal Watch was founded in 1007 and has members from royal Houses as well as everyday citizens. They can be distinguished by their bright yellow cloaks and distinctive pronged shootsticks.
