Once a gentle mare that ferried the souls of ponies to the next realm, Moonlight Wraith no longer guides her charges peacefully.
Long ago, the families of the spirits she cared for gave offerings and thanks for her tireless work. These offerings filled her heart — but as traditions dwindled, a seed of desolation rooted in the mare's heart. It grew, and so did her hunger, until the mare (driven by her new, ravenous appetite) turned on the souls she once tended to.
Now, she scours the land in search of lost, lonely souls like herself to feed on…
