Antumbra: What do you mean, stand down?

The stark white Alicorns stared deep into eachothers eyes. The elder mare's hair billowed in the wind lit up brighter than the Northern Lights. Her stare wavered under the piercing gaze of her child's. Beautiful and cold, her daughter's gaze reminded her of someone long gone. Someone who would have sided with the young Alicorn's resolute nature.
Celestia finally broke the silence.

Celestia: The violence ends here Antumbra. We will not cause the same devastation onto the Yaks as they have done to us. We must talk.

Antumbra slowly turned to face her mother. She shooed away a stony faced Pegasus general with a single gesture of her wing. Before she spoke, she worked her jaw and inhaled sharply.

Antumbra: Father is dead. The Yaks attacked us unprovoked, killed hundreds and have refused any contact. All of this, and you still insist on peaceful discussion? Mother…we have passed that point. Equestria is in danger, and your resistance to decisive action is beginning to resemble cowardice.

I'm not super pleased with this piece but I haven't drawn enough of Antumbra and Celestia.
Celestia is very afraid of her daughter. Antumbra believes in the whole Eye for an Eye motto which her mother finds monsterous.
