Join Captain Shoichet and the crew of the USS Sunset Shimmer as they get called to Deep Space 9 to stop a new threat: Aridaginatans, who are descendants of three 21st century sirens. But the new alien species time travel to the year 2014. The Sunset Shimmer crew must stop the Aridaginatans from killing the ship's past namesake, with the help of another Federation ship, the 7 21st century geode bearers, and a familiar omnipotent entity.
